Glen Dene is a high country sheep station situated 15 minutes (20km) out of Wanaka. The property is bound by Lake Hawea on the east and Lake Wanaka on the west, with the homestead located at the southern end of the property and on the western shores of Lake Hawea. It has a magnificent outlook over the lake and surrounding glacial mountains - sharp, leading spurs and gullies dropping steeply into the lake. The panorama is extensive - 80 miles of uninterrupted scenery across the lake to the Southern Alps beyond.

What's more, the home is surrounded by extensive landscaped gardens. There is direct access from the homestead to the lake and a private beach. The property is 20 000 acres of rural tranquility.

The region offers a wide range of both summer and winter activities - walking, fishing, hunting, river and lake activities as well as 3 world class skifields within one hours drive.

Your hosts, Lesley and Jerry, Richard and Sarah will ensure your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable and will be happy to book activities for you in advance or on your arrival. They are able to offer a number of packages for groups, too, with speciality lunches, weddings and location shooting also catered for.
